Affectionately known as the soul of Clärchens, General Manager Claudia brings the magic of this historic venue to life for every guest. Her deep appreciation for the place, expertise in gastronomy, and intuitive connection with people create an unforgettable experience. At Clärchens, taste has once again become a top priority, and Claudia and her team ensure this standard is upheld: "This is the heart of Berlin. Clärchens embodies generosity, history, and an undeniable charm, and we are bringing all of that back to life."

The kitchen at Clärchens Ballhaus is led by Executive Chef Tobias Beck, who oversees both the Spiegelsaal and Luna D’Oro. After honing his skills in renowned restaurants across Argentina, Japan, Mexico, and Denmark, and most recently gaining attention with the wood-fired cuisine of his Berlin-based concept “Ember,” Tobias has returned to his culinary roots. At the historic Clärchens Ballhaus, he celebrates traditional German cuisine. Together with his team, he honors the recipes of past generations, bringing them to life with deep respect and the highest standards for regional, homemade dishes, all served in a nostalgic atmosphere.

Anyone needing a photo shoot, wanting to quickly arrange a jam session, or just checking if there are enough power outlets in the mirrored hall for the wedding will likely be dealing with our operations assistant, Alina, and will be in excellent hands. When she's not busy attending to our guests' needs, the hotel staff has plenty to do to make their day exciting and varied.
