We have adopted technical and organisational measures to ensure that the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) are observed both by us and by external service providers who work for us.

If we work with other companies such as email and server providers to offer our services, this only happens after an extensive selection process. In this selection process, each individual service provider is carefully selected for its suitability in connection with its technical and organisational capabilities in data protection. This selection process is documented in writing and a contract for the commissioned data processing is only concluded if it meets the requirements of Art 28 GDPR.

Your personal data is stored on specially protected servers. Access to the data is only possible for a few specially authorised persons. If you send us data via web forms, the data is always transmitted via an encrypted connection (128-bit TLS).

c) Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified length of time, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies in the security settings of your browser at any time. Please note that if you do so, you may not be able to use all the functions of this website.

The analysis of your activities on our website is transmitted to us in the form of reports. Google may pass on the collected information to third parties if this is required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf of Google. This results in Google being informed about the IP address or the surfing behaviour of the user. Preventing (as well as deleting) the setting of cookies can be achieved using the appropriate settings in the Internet browser. The user may object to user-related advertising by Google at any time. 13. Legal basis for the processing of personal data

The processing of personal data requires a legal basis. Various legal bases are standardised in Article 6 of the GDPR. Art.6 para.1 lit.a) GDPR is, for example, a legal basis for the processing of personal data. This refers to the consent given by the user. The consent is restricted to one or more specific purposes. The processing of personal data is also possible within the framework of the performance of a contract pursuant to Art.6 para.1 lit.b) GDPR. However, Art.6 para.1 lit.b) GDPR must be understood in a broad sense, as this also includes the entering into a contractual relationship and the data processing associated with this. At CB Location GmbH this applies in particular to cases where the user uses the contact form to receive a non-binding offer. Art.6 para.1 lit.c) GDPR describes the legal basis of data processing in cases where a legal obligation is necessary for data processing. The processing of personal data can be based on Art.6 para.1 lit.d) GDPR in exceptional cases. This is where processing is necessary in order to protect the vital interests of the data subject or of another natural person. This refers to cases in which CB Location GmbH or an event organized by CB Location GmbH would cause injury to life, limb or health. In order to initiate assistance measures, personal data such as name, contact details and, if applicable, health insurance would be required. It is also possible that the processing of personal data is legally based on Art.6 para.1 lit.f) GDPR. Here so-called “legitimate interests” are standardised, which can be read with reference to Recital 47 GDPR. Art.6 para.1 lit.f) GDPR is in the legal sense a so-called “catch-all norm” which applies if no other legal bases than those described above apply. This involves a weighing up of interests, with the focus being on the question of which interests take precedence in the processing of personal data; those of the data subject or those of the data processor.

14. Your rights

You have the following rights in relation to the personal data concerning you:

– Right of access,
- Right of rectification or erasure,
– Right to restriction of processing,
- Right to object to processing,

If you have given your consent to the processing of your data, this consent can be withdrawn at any time. Such a withdrawal will affect the permissibility of processing your personal data after you have declared this to us.

Insofar as we base the processing of your personal data on the balancing of interests, you may object to the processing. This is the case if the processing is in particular not necessary for the performance of a contract with you, as described by us in the following description of the functions. In exercising your right to object, we ask you to explain the reasons why we should not process your personal data in the way we do. In the event of your justified objection, we will examine the facts of the case and either terminate or adapt the processing of the data or present you with our compelling legitimate reasons for continuing with the processing.

Of course, you can object to the processing of your personal data for the purposes of advertising and data analysis at any time. You can contact us or our Data Protection Officer about your objection to the processing of your personal data for advertising purposes using the contact details given at the beginning of this privacy policy.

You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us.

15. How to exercise these rights

In the event of a request for access, you must provide sufficient information about your identity and provide proof that the information concerns you.
