Our Stewards help to deliver service excellence aiding in the organization and coordination of the Kitchen and Bar operations. Reporting to the Chef de Cuisine, our Steward is responsible for keeping kitchen utensils, plates, glassware and culinary equipment clean, whilst consistently replenishing the clean stock to the appropriate stations. The Clärchens Ballhaus team runs with a mindset of “no task is too small“ and our Stewards should expect to manage through ambiguity and support all departments where needed to enhance our guest experience.

Anforderungen

  • 2+ years experience working within culinary program’s for high-end, highly visible entertainment entities.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, and excellent time management skills.
  • Maintain the kitchen work areas, bar and staff area clean and in accordance with HACCP regulations.
  • Knowledge of how to use commercial kitchen equipment i.e. dishwasher with the ability to also wash glassware and dishes manually.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment i.e. food mixers, refrigerators, cookers, are in good working order, reporting any faulty equipment to the Leadership team.
  • Ensure that the dish and glass machines are always clean, consistently changing the water through-out the shift and checking that the jets in the machine are free of blockage debris.
  • Using the correct amount of proportion cleaning chemicals when cleaning work surfaces and equipment.
  • Carefully washing and stacking all kitchen utensils, china and glassware to minimize breakage.
  • Stacking and restocking plates in the appropriate areas for the culinary staff.
  • Organizing the silver ware appropriately so FOH team can polish for restock.
  • Accepting food and beverage deliveries from suppliers and storing them in proper locations based on quality preservation of items delivered.
  • Disposing of all trash from the Clärchens kitchens to the appropriate storage areas in an orderly and hygienic manner .
  • Maintain complete knowledge of and compliance with all Health & Safety, company Employment policies/service procedures/standards as these relate to the FOH team.
